all of the characters have smth abt them that makes them attractive but Morgan Kyne is like sickeningly attractive. The most conventionally attractive, borderline angelic, looking pretty boy. He’s the type to be almost irritatingly humble about it too.

He’s not insecure by any means, if he is he certainly hides it well, but there's a glint in his eye when he's being self deprecating, like he knows consciously or maybe subconsciously that he is indeed very beautiful.

“I still look like shit, mind you, but I'm up“ he says, and hes got the gall to wear the softest tired smile and his eyes crinkle when a breathy laughs escapes him, with the prettiest beauty marks dotted across his stupidly smooth skin while the golden backlight from his apartment illuminates him in a warm, halo glow. Seer Obscura makes an earnest effort not to roll their eyes when they process what he says because of course he would say something like that. A laugh, they will not give to him for the sheer sin of acting as sweetly and as earnestly as he had been that night. And still a smile slips from their lips, maybe its a chuckle. The offer of a breakfast only to find he can't make anything more than a heaping bowl of cereal is one reminder that despite his ethereal features, he is, infact, still very human (thats almost worse isnt it?)

i cannot take the lucanis romance discourse anymore. this game was advertised as having the best romances in the entire franchise and then when the actual game dropped he is the one character with the least content in the entire game despite being a MAIN companion esp in relation to the other quests + his romance lock in scene is LITERALLY 45 seconds, it has barely any substance and it's pretty poorly written AND if during the first big choice in the game u get locked out of his romance (which. even tho it could be in character that is a BAD decision in a game series that prides itself again on its romances and is actually a sign of not good decision making taking into consideration the fact that he becomes a NOTHING character regardless of romance after saving minrathous) i think people are allowed to be a bit bitter and disappointed because THAT IS NEITHER NORMAL NOR A GOOD DECISION IN AN RPG THAT'S COMPANION DRIVEN.

how to connect with lucifer ? he’s such a revered figure that I feel there’s a wall between us

he comes across that way, doesn't he? well, i'll be the first to say that the wall is our making, not his. i put him so far above me that i thought there is no way he would want to associate with me but lucifer is a breaker of barriers, of chains, of limitations. he lives in the in-between, the morning star.

i would say to find the aspect of him that you wish to connect with. he is extremely multi-faceted and has mythology of all colors, has all kinds of stories and understandings. there is something of him that draws you to him, focus on that. is it the light he brings? is it the infernal / demonic force of him? is it the roman god that called the stars home? or the angel that rebelled against an oppressive force?

once you identify what part of him you want to connect with, start connecting. i suggest doing this way because he represents so many things that it feels like a lot and that can be overwhelming.

here's what i did: i lit a candle for him ( lightbringer, yanno? ) and told him that i would like to connect with him. that's all i did in the beginning. no spell, no incantation, just an honest request.

after that, i would find offerings to give (things that i associated with the aspect of him i was trying to connect with or things that just made me think of lucifer or just a cup of water when that's all i had. ) or i would pray to him. i suggest you do the same. there are demonic chants you can do or prayers but honestly, i never got much into that. lucifer and i have a big UPG relationship. you can journal and tell him how you represented the aspect you're trying to connect to that day. for example, if you're into the illumination of knowledge then perhaps you tell him of the things you're interesting in learning and how you're going to go about doing them. this becomes a devotional act and he will see this.

connecting with an entity, in my experience, is not akin to some huge incredibly movements of religious ecstasy or anything like that. it is very much the little things. i see lucifer in the sunsets, i see him in the dove coos, i see him in the apples i offer him, i see him in my learning and education, i see him in my self-love, i see him in my strength to stand up for myself and in all this, i am connecting with him.

i trust that he is there because he has shown me is through signs, miracles, and associations.

he is the lightbrighter. he will meet you where you are in the dark and he will guide you to illumination. you need only ask him.

earlier i realized that with gossip girl airing and taking place from 2007 - 2012 there were very foundational and iconic seasons of mtv’s the challenge taking place during that time, meaning the characters of gossip girl could have witnessed such historic moments in reality tv history. my thought process was one of the most iconic moments of mtv’s the challenge was when johnny “bananas” devenanzio competed against chris “CT” tamburello in an elimination challenge titled back up off me where two players are strapped back to back and have to try and tug the other in the opposite direction towards a finish line. CT famously absolutely obliterated this challenge by just fully standing up with bananas strapped to his back and simply walking him across the line by sheer strength, now coined “the bananas backpack” and beloved as one of the most iconic moments of the entire franchise. this moment appeared in yellowjackets! this episode aired on december 8th 2010. what were my good friends dan and blair doing on the week of december 8th 2010, while this historical elimination occurred? well i took my ass over to wikipedia and lo and behold:

season. four. episode. eleven. the. townie. not only did this week in december 2010 give us bananas backpack, but it gave us the foundational birth episode of dair. and what was i doing? being in 4th grade, not watching either, like an idiot?
